

They operate similarly to folders in other note-taking apps. Labels are an important and powerful tool in Google Keep. Make sure you do maintenance on Google Keep now and then to keep it uncluttered. We only see this system struggle to work if you have hundreds of notes and never delete the ones you don’t need anymore. You should have no problems keeping your notes nice and organized with these tools. There are only a few background choices, but they look oddly good. Below the color selector is a background selector. In your note, tap the palette icon at the bottom.


Tap the four-square icon to change it back to the traditional view. Tap that icon to switch to a different view. There are two rectangle boxes at the top of the screen, next to your profile image.

Files that are not available offline can only be accessed when you’re connected to the internet. Hard drive space is only used when you open files or make them available offline. With streaming, your files are stored in the cloud. You can access files through a folder on your computer. You can access your files at any time, even when you don’t have an internet connection or the Drive for desktop app running. With mirroring, your files are stored in the cloud and on your computer, which takes up hard drive space. In both cases, any changes you make to your files on one device will be reflected everywhere. Mirroring and streaming are two ways to sync your files.
